Open Studio FAQ

Who can use the Makerspace?

The Makerspace is open to the public. Come use our sewing machines, dressforms, drafting tables, patternmaking paper, etc. Kids under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

What does it cost to use the Makerspace?

Drop-in is $15/day. For unlimited use (during open studio hours), purchase a monthly pass for $60, which also includes free passes to all one-day workshops during the month of the pass. Purchase a 90-day pass for only $150 ($30 savings!).

Can I use the fabric/trim there?

No, the fabric/trim/notions there is for the students. To use the open studio, you must bring your own projects to work on but if there are notions, trim, fabric available for purchase you may do so.

What are open studio hours?

It will vary each season. Please consult the calendar on the website or at the center.

Can I leave my project there?

Not for drop-ins. We don't want to be held responsible for any damage to your design project. But there may be storage made available to monthly pass holders.
